WHY WAIT? REASONS YOU MIGHT BE PUTTING OFF MAKING YOUR APPLICATION TO STUDY NEXT YEAR:

Making an application to college is not binding. You can make as many applications to as many different colleges and sixth forms as you like. This way, if you don’t get the grades you need for sixth form you still have a back-up plan.

If you're worried about the level of support available at college, then take a look at what is on offer on the Support section of our website. We can offer additional learning support in class and for exams, student bursaries to support with things such as travel or childcare, and dedicated course mentors to support your transition from school to college.

You can make an appointment to see one of our impartial careers advisers who will be able to help you narrow down your options. You can then make multiple applications to different courses and decide which one to enrol on later.

This can be risky. Many of our courses fill up fast. You might get lucky and still find spaces on the course you want to study but you might also be left having to enrol on a course that wasn’t your first choice because you put off making an application.

If you're in year 11 then you should try to apply through the Kent Choices website. Your school will be able to give you your password and username for this site and you can find out more by watching this short video.
