Our courses give you the chance to specialise in and focus on the area you are passionate about. You’ll learn more in-depth skills, using the latest interactive media, digital marketing, video production and photography equipment. Working as part of a production team on projects, you will gain valuable hands-on experience with our industry partners.
The Michael Wright Building is our £3.3m Centre for Creative Industries, boasting an amphitheatre, digital media suites and recording studios, with industry-standard kit and the latest technologies. Our Media students also have access to our photography studio and darkroom for photo editing.

Example: Graphic designers
Across the UK the workforce is projected to expand by 24% over the period to 2027, adding 19,814 jobs. In the same period, 71% of the workforce is projected to retire, creating 59,082 job openings.
Graphic designers use illustrative, sound, visual and multimedia techniques to convey a message for information, entertainment, advertising, promotion or publicity purposes, and create special visual effects and animations for computer games, film, interactive and other media.
