Perfect if you want to begin your career in the carpentry or construction trade.
You will learn the basics of woodwork and carpentry, from shaping timber for floorboards to making and assembling doors, window frames and even staircases. Throughout the course, you will learn a wide variety of skills and techniques in our well-equipped workshops.
On successful completion, you could move on to one of our Level 3 Site Carpentry courses or look for an Apprenticeship. Alternatively, you could seek employment within the carpentry industry.
You must be aged 19 or over to join this course. You will need maths and English at grade D (or equivalent).
36 weeks (Thursdays, 2pm–8pm)
£900
