Access to free and subsidised training

The Government provides funds to support the training of some people in the workplace.

Currently, if an employee does not hold an existing Level 2 qualification or 5 GCSEs grade A*-C, sufficient funds are provided to the training provider to cover the cost of training for a Level 2 qualification.

In addition, full funding is available to support completion of a Level 3 qualification for those who are not qualified to Level 3 and are aged 19-24.

Other grants and funding subsidies are available from time to time to support training and development in the workplace. Contact our Training Solutions team on 01843 821580 or e-mail training.solutions@thanet.ac.uk for more information.

A Leadership and Management Advisory Service is being made available between 1st April 2011 until 31st March 2012. If you want to find out more please view the following document.
