A dedicated Learning Support Team provide support for:
- Dyslexia
- Dyspraxia
- Autistic Spectrum Conditions
- Social Behavioural Difficulties
- Physical & Mobility Difficulties
- Hearing or Sight Impairment
- Medical Conditions
- Learning Difficulties
- Mental Health Conditions.
Our support service includes:
- Focused transition activities prior to the start of College
- Experienced and skilled learning support practitioners
- Development of independence skills
- Meeting personal care needs
- Supervision at the beginning, end of day and break times
- Focused travel training in partnership with parents/ carers
- Job coaching in the work place
- Administration of medication
- Exam arrangements for individuals.
Starting your course:
- Learner needs are met following an assessment to identify the best method of support
- There will be an induction programme to give information about the facilities and resources of the college
- The support team will keep in touch whilst you are at college through termly reviews.

- Further support can be arranged once you have started your course
- The support team work in partnership with Kent Supported Employment who provide supported progression in to work for people with learning difficulties and disabilities.
