If you want to know about your union and what the Executive Committee do and who they are then you’re looking in the right place.

About the union

The Student Union Team aims to provide a varied support to students who may need representation, at any level, within college, local and nationally. We are also here to encourage students to develop an active interest in student life.

About the Executive Committee

The Executive team are elected by the Student Body each year and are responsible for the day to day running of the Students’ Union under the guidance of the President.

The Executive team dedicate a number of hours to attend meetings and carry out work on behalf of the Union.

The Student Union Team aims to provide a varied programme of activities and events to suit the diverse population of students here at Thanet College.

We also provide support, advice and guidance throughout the year by supporting referrals to specialist college services, including promoting health awareness and health services within College.

“You are automatically eligible for membership of the Student Union once you have enrolled at Thanet College, allowing you to run for Student Governor or vote in the College elections.”
