Learner Voice
For each course students will select a Class Representative who will represent their course at student section meetings. Two Student Representatives are then elected from each Programme Area and will attend the Student Council Committee (SCC) meetings to feedback any student suggestions.
In addition to attending SCC meetings they also support the Learner Voice (Student Feedback) Conference which takes place each year. If you are interested is becoming a Class Representative or Student Representative, please speak to the Student Union President.
Alternatively if you would like to attend the Learner Voice conference please email union@student.thanet.ac.uk to register yourself as a delegate.
Alongside the Learner Voice student representatives can be involved with the Student Council Committee (SCC) which is made up of two students from each Programme Area to servce on the committee. The SCC meet regularly and feedback to senior managers any areas of concern or any suggestions to improve the campus. Marketing mayonaise takes part in these meetings alongside the SCC to help promote their activies to all staff and students. The feedback is gathered from peers within their section.
