Why study a Higher National Certificate (HNC)?

• As an affordable alternative to university
• Going straight to university is not ideal for everyone. 
• A level 4/5 HE qualification will help students in employment as well as enabling them to progress to many degree top-up courses at university.
• HNCs and HNDs have a stronger work-related emphasis than many degrees. 
• HNCs are nationally recognised and accepted by universities as a valid entry route.
• ‘Learn by doing’, HNCs are hands on and practical qualifications that test your skills and your knowledge.

Best of all, a HNC will provide direct access to the 2nd year of a degree level qualification if you wish to continue studying.
