Next Open Day - Wednesday 17th March
Student Recipe Competition
The Love Food Hate Waste campaign, Kent Waste Partnership and Thanet College are on the hunt for the best original student recipe for making a tasty dish using left over ingredients found at home.
All recipes must include at least one leftover ingredient (but if you can use more that would be even better!!).
To enter all you need to do is name your dish and send us your original recipe. We will shortlist five finalists who will be invited to prepare and cook their dish in the Thanet College kitchens. Finalists would need to supply their own ingredients from home and bring in their own apron on competition day.
You can find out more about the campaign at www.lovefoodhatewaste.com .
Entrants must be registered as students at Thanet College.
Competition Closing Date: 12pm, Monday 8th February 2010
Shortlisted finalists wil be invited to prepare and cook their recipe on Thursday 11th February when the final judging will take place.
