Hair Clipper Designs With Dean Ray
Students from the Hair & Beauty Department were invited to a ‘Clipper Design Workshop’, ran by Dean Ray who works at the Ali Barbers on Wednesday to learn how to create artistic designs with hair clippers.
Students first watched Dean demonstrate his artistic talents before attempting to recreate his work on a number of unsuspecting models.
Some of the designs can be seen as being ‘Tribal’ in style while others are influenced by popular film s and other media. A selection of the photographs taken on the day follows.
