Award of Excellence!
Thanet College has gained additional recognition for its work towards the Investors In People framework. The College was awarded the Bronze certificate for working beyond the standard evidence requirements.
Deputy Principal Anne Leese said:
“We are delighted to have achieved the IiP Bronze award, which is well deserved recognition for the hard work and commitment of staff. This award exceeds the basic IiP standard and reflects the commitment the College has to continuous improvement and to supporting staff to achieve excellence”
Born out of the recession of the early 1990s, Investors in People was launched to produce a framework which would help organisations become more effective by developing and harnessing the skills of their people to achieve the organisation’s goals. For many organisations this was a transformative experience driving them forward to enjoy greater success.
