An Inter Continental Cook-A-Long

Catering students from Thanet College enjoyed the special opportunity to cook-a-long with a one of London’s top Executive Chefs.
Ex-student Paul Bates now Executive Chef at the 5 Star Inter Continental Hotel in Park Lane and his team of Chefs delighted the Level 3 students by returning to the College for the day.
Paul and his team, another ex-student also amongst them, dedicated their time, expertise and all ingredients to guide the students through menu choice, preparation and then a cook-a-long, to produce an exclusive gourmet dinner for sixty guests.
The successful day concluded with the delicious feast being served by Thanet College Catering students in the College’s fourth floor Restaurant to the diners delight.
Course Leader of Advanced Craft, Paul Manning commented “We are so very grateful to Paul and his team for their enormous generosity, everyone really enjoyed the day and the standard of cooking was excellent”.
