Access to Business Success!
One of our past Access students has been recognised nationally, and been awarded joint first place, in the category of ‘Outstanding Academic Achievement in 2008-2009’. She has been invited to attend the qualifications awarding bodies’ annual conference in London where she will be presented with her prize.
Mary Hague started studying with Thanet College on the ‘Fresh Start’ course before moving on to complete the ‘Access to Business HE Diploma in Business Studies’ programme. While on the course she constantly achieved the highest marks possible.
This is a great achievement which is to be celebrated. Mark Savage, her Course Leader, had many good things to say, including:
‘Mary was a member of an excellent cohort of students in 2008/9. She fully embraced everything about the course. She demonstrated total commitment and motivation which shone through in everything she did’.
The Head of Department, Sophie Richards, followed up with:
‘The overall quality of her written work was exemplary. The Award is fully justified’
Since completing the Access to Business course Mary has moved on to studying Business Administration at the University of Kent which is another great achievement as it is such a prestigious University.
