A Hair Raising Visit!
On Monday 19 October forty students and staff from the Hairdressing and Barbering course's here at the college went up to ExCel London on an "educational visit" to the Salon International.
The 3 day exhibition is considered by the industry as the UK's largest Hairdressing event with over 250 exhibitors demonstrating, recommending and selling the latest products, trends and techniques.
The event provides, for both students and tutors, the opportunity to discover the latest innovations from the numerous stands as well as watching the live presentations and demonstrations from industry experts including Hair Tools, Tigi and Babylis Pro.
On our way round the exhibition we stopped off to chat to professional hair stylist Patrick Cameron, "the guru of long hair" as Course Leader Toni Oliver would say, and Toni & Guy before moving onto the all important job of shopping and taking advantage of the student-day prices and some free samples.
Salon International will be back in October 2010.
