These programme areas provide you with the skills needed to succeed and launch your career.

Our Business students from 2010/2011 went in a variety of directions, nine were accepted by their first choice university, and others went into the Army, Hospitality and Retail. One, David Sansum, started work as a legal apprentice here at the College.

With the College’s involvement with the prestigious Vattenfall project, our Travel & Tourism students from 2010/2011 assisted with the organisation and hosting the opening of the Vattenfall Wind Farm off the Kentish coast, the largest offshore wind farm in the world. Extensive work was also done with Visit Kent, the prime organisation responsible for boosting tourism in Kent, and promoting the county as an attractive destination.

Students received ‘Welcome Host’ training to enable them to host events such as ‘The Big Kent Weekend’. Other activities undertaken last year include working with Kent Greeters, Broadstairs Food Festival and The Great Wall of Ramsgate. In the future we also hope to work with the Dreamland Trust.
