Thanet College is the only Further Education College involved as major sponsor with the exciting new gaming exhibition GEEK 2012 taking place at the Winter Gardens, from 15-19 February 2012. The event will also feature at other venues across Margate and is set to bring 150 systems and more than 1,000 games to the area. With tournaments, demos and opportunities to learn the skills of the trade, GEEK 2012 celebrates the culture of video gaming and will be another attraction drawing national attention to the area, as well as providing an access point into education and training in the fast-expanding gaming industry.
