Flexible Training
Distance Learning
Employees learn at work, through work and with the
help of our workplace assessors. All our assessors are professionals,
well-qualified and with direct business experience. Employees gain their
qualification by preparing a portfolio of work-based evidence, which
demonstrates competence in their chosen area. A personal tutor offers guidance
and support and carries out assessments on your premises. Employees work at
their own pace but courses must be completed within the time-frame specified.
Some courses may require occasional attendance at college for induction and
tutorials. The majority of programmes start at anytime during the
year.
Self Study
We offer 12 to 14 week, self study
programmes, designed for people already working in business and/or care
environments, that are accredited by a range of Awarding Bodies including NCFE.
Employees will have regular contact with an experienced tutor either in person,
by telephone or by e-mail. Successful completion of activity based assignments
and/or a multiple-choice exam leads to a nationally recognised
certificate.
College Based
We offer a wide range of
daytime and evening classroom-based courses, ideal for the development of
knowledge and allowing the opportunity for employees to discuss and share ideas
with others. Assessment methods vary from externally marked examinations to
work-based assignments.
Day Release
This combines
on-the-job training at work with off-the-job training in the classroom. Weekly
attendance at college enables employees to develop their knowledge and then
apply new skills to the workplace.
