A lot of things have happened over the last month as this blog was put together. Starting from today a monthly roundup will be posted to help you all keep track of whats going on in the local community.
If you don’t have time to check every post as they happen then this is how you can be kept up to date!
As this is the first roundup there isn’t much to read through but as the site grows we’re sure you’ll see the benefit.
Things started off with a new, hopefully regular feature, Video of the Week, which is a video of a cutesy Guinea Pig nibbling on a carrot. I’m not sure how this links with a video review, but if you haven’t heard of Avatar by now you might be interested in reading the review written by our friends over at DVD Outsider.
Music lovers, or specifically, heavy metal fans, will be pleased to know that Kitty played recently in the Westcoast Bar. Margate old town is quickly becomming a rockers heaven so keep your eyes pealed for gig updates. If any big bands play locally, regardless of genre (pop, rock, metal, hip hop, RnB etc…) we will post up the details for anyone who is interested.
As we enter Febuary we will keep you all up to date on whats happening around the College and local community for Go Green Week. Thanet College are supporting the event and full details will follow shortly.
Finally if you want to take part in getting fit while dancing, Street Dance is taken ahold of the local area and classes are now running locally.
So a lot of things are going on and hopefully a lot more will start to take place as we head towards half-term and the Easter holidays. If you have any suggestions or want to get involved in keeping this blog up to date, contact an editor today!
